Oasis Hyperbarics is pleased to announce a new hyperbaric medical practice opened by Eric Brittain, MD and Tim Osbon, MD in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.  Drs. Brittain and Osbon are Certified Hyperbaricists and Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. 

Dr. Brittain received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois in 2002 and completed residency training at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina in 2005.

Dr. Osbon received his Masters degree in genetics and biotechnology from Johns Hopkins in 1998, his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 2002 and completed residency training at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina in 2005.

While in residency, Drs. Brittain and Osbon were certified in Hyperbaric Medicine.  Appreciating the vast therapeutic options available with hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), they began the process of creating Oasis Hyperbarics and finally launched their medical practice in December 2008.

Oasis Hyperbarics is affiliated with Hyperbaric Therapy of the Low Country in Hilton Head, South Carolina which has been treating patients for 3 years.  Through their patients’ experiences as well as a growing body of medical research around the world, it is evident that hyperbaric therapy is a useful modality in the treatment of a huge number of disease entities.
